Elizabeth, the Virgin Queen has ruled England for 44 years. She is ill and with no apparent heir, the powers of Europe circle like vultures for the deathwatch. Court intrigue abounds as courtiers take sides with the many factions vying for the English Crown. Will light continue to shine across this fair isle? Will England be plunged into darkness, divided by the shadows of war?

Come to Candlemas and find out!

We are also hosting Kingdom A&S, from which will be chosen:

  1. An Ansteorran Arts Champion
  2. 25 Champions to represent Ansteorra at Gulf Wars, including Performance, Static Arts and Research pieces
  3. Bryn Gwlad's Baronial Artisan and Bard

For detailed A&S competition information, please visit The State of the Arts Webpage where you can view the judging forms. http://www.ansteorra.org/orders/peerage/laurel
